Michael Pope, President of Impact Training and Development, will be our speaker this Tuesday.
He will present information regarding the attributes of “World Class” teams, what is needed to build them, the stages of team development, and what leaders must do to groom them.
After receiving a B.B.A. in Management, Michael began his career at Texas Instruments. During his tenure in the Computer Service Division he held several management positions. In 1993, he co-founded Actualized Growth Inc., and in 1999 he founded Impact Training and Development. He has conducted various Leadership Development and Team Building training programs with over 25 of the Fortune 500 companies, including 10 of the top 100 and 5 of the top ten. He has conducted international programs in Venezuela and Mexico. He is a Certified Ropes Course Facilitator and Facilitator Trainer. He is a Certified Professional Coach and also has over 10 years of experience utilizing Total Quality Management programs. Michael served five years on the Board of Directors for the Houston Chapter of the American Society of Training & Development including President in 2005.
